It is a self-organizing society that allows students to pursue their aesthetic and professional interests in a supportive environment. Founded by Uzair Ahmed, a graduate of Batch 27, the club aims to create a network of developers at GIKI.
The club organizes seminars, workshops, and tours of engineering complexes. It also hosts an Open House where students can meet professionals and gain real-world experience. The club also sponsors video shows of contemporary developments and encourages student-led projects. It also serves as a platform for engineers to share their knowledge and expertise.
The GIKI-AA has been working to establish communication with Dawood Global Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports R&D and industrial collaboration. The foundation awards scholarships for female students and sponsors internships for third-year students. It also promotes alumni job placement. The GIKI-AA is working to formalize the structure of its chapters around the world. This will help the organization integrate the chapters across different countries and foster a more cohesive and supportive community.
