Lexotanil Information

Lexotanil is a prescription medication. Its dosage depends on the patient’s condition. Lexotanil is an anxiolytic, anti-depressant medication used to treat a range of mental health conditions. It is, manufactured by Martin Dow Pharmaceuticals (Pak) Ltd. and contains bromazepam, a benzodiazepine that deals with anxiety.

The dosage schedule for Lexotanil depends on the indication for treatment. Children and adults over 12 years of age should start at the lowest recommended dosage, usually 3 to 10 mg three or four times a day. Depending on the indication, the dose can be increased as needed.

The dosage should be taken as prescribed by a doctor. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. Do not double the dosage unless your doctor tells you to. Missed doses can make you drowsy and can interfere with memory. Therefore, you should always get a full night’s rest before taking Lexotanil.

The dosage of Lexotanil should gradually increase. The starting dose is one tablet of 1.5 to three milligrams taken with water. The maximum daily dose is 12 mg.
