Sarmad Khoosat

Sarmad Khoosat is a Pakistani film director and a great actor. He is the son of the legendary actor Irfan Khoosat. Irfan was known for his brilliant acting skills, making each role memorable. He also has an award-winning career as a film writer and director. He also makes a name for himself with his YouTube activities.

One of his many hits was ‘Kahoosat’, which was one of Pakistan’s most popular dramas of all time. He was also a popular playwright, and his plays have been aired on PTV and satellite channels. However, he did not write any novels or short stories.

The story follows the love story of two young lovers: Heer and Ranjha. Heer is born into a wealthy family. Ranjha is a Jat from the Ranjha tribe who lives in a village called Takht Hazara. With an acclaimed script and strong cast, Bilal’s Bol is a milestone in the history of Pakistani cinema. The film features stalwarts such as Humaima Malick, Irfan Khoosat, and Shafqat Cheema. It also stars budding filmmakers from the NCA Lahore.

Despite being the son of a legendary Pakistani actor, Zaviyar has only recently gotten into acting himself. His talent and good looks have won him many admirers. Though it is his first time in the industry, his father wants him to master his unique style. His two star-studded dramas, ‘Sunshine’ and ‘Badabad’ are testament to that.

This production became Ali Ahmed’s mainstay. But he was not without faults. Ali Ahmed was a die-hard revolutionary and always at odds with the forces of the status quo in society. The satire that he produced was often sharp and cut deeply. One of his biggest faults was his selection of amateur actors.

In the late 1950s, Latif Kapadia had taken up a job at the National Bank. He had a difficult time juggling his theatrical pursuits and his bank job. Then, in 1969, PTV decided to produce its first long play and chose Sheeshay Kay Aadmi by Ali Ahmed. The success of this play brought Latif to fame in the television world. However, Latif never lost the thrill of the stage. After this success, he continued to appear on television and in theaters five days a week.

Latif Kapadia was born in Nasik, Maharashtra. He migrated to Karachi after partition and was one of 12 children of a government official. He became an actor in the 1950s by performing in many plays.
