“What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” is a South Korean TV drama based on the novel of the same name by Jung Kyung-yoon. The book was published in 2013 and later turn into a web comic. The script for the drama was written by Jung Eun-Young and directed by Park Joon-hwa.
Lee Young-Jon, a narcissistic and egocentric vice chairman, is confronted with the fact that his secretary is leaving him. What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim is a romantic comedy with a predictable plot. Yoo-sik’s secretary decides to quit her job, and she’s ready to move on. She’s been at the office for nine years, and wants to live her life. His boss, however, realises that he can’t survive without her. In the end, he has no choice but to let her go, but it’s not without its own traumatic plot. As a result, the drama also features a dark family secret and a traumatic kidnap plot.
The cast includes Kang Ki-young, Hwang Chan-sung, and Kim Yewon. The new actresses include Kim Yewon, who reunited with Park Seo Jin in “Fight For My Way.” Pyo Je Jin, who played Kim Ji Ah in Fight For My Way, plays Kim Ji Ah, the new secretary under Yoo-sik. Kim Ji Ah is lovely and charming, and is perfect for Kim Mi So’s secretary.
