If you are looking for a way to experience the fine arts in Pakistan, there are several art galleries you should check out. Some of the more notable ones include the Ufaq Gallery, Imran Qureshi Gallery, Ahmad Zoay Gallery, and the Eye For Art Gallery. These are all worthy of a visit, and you might be pleasantly surprised with the variety of works they have to offer.

Ufaq

If you’re looking for art galleries in Pakistan, you’ve come to the right place. Ufaq has recently exhibited work at the Lahore Biennale-01, held at the Ejaz Art Gallery, exploring multiple modes of storytelling and Lahore as a city coming to terms with underrepresented narratives. The artist’s use of flowers, an important part of the landscape during spring, lends a new perspective on the city. His work combines personal narrative with poetic language of resurgence.

Ufaq Ehsan is a promising artist who is personally involved in establishing art forums for young artists. Through her art, she encourages art enthusiasts to explore the world around them. The artist is an avid advocate of symbolism and uses a variety of mediums to create her artwork. Painting has been a recurring theme throughout her practice, so she has developed a strong, recognizable visual vocabulary.

Imran Qureshi

Imran Qureshi is a prominent representative of the Pakistani art scene. He was named “Artist of the Year” by Deutsche Bank in 2013. He was chosen by the Global Art Advisory Council, which includes Okwui Enwezor, Hou Hanru, and Victoria Noorthoorn.

Imran’s work explores the contrast between life and death, using vibrant colours and detailed foliage designs. He teaches at the National College of Arts in Lahore, Pakistan, and says the colour tone in his work is influenced by the frequent bombings in Pakistan.

The artist divides his body of work into three groups, each with its own characteristic characteristics. One group comprises of traditionally worked small-scale miniature paintings. The subjects are contemporary, but the style of painting is traditional. The artist’s goal is to disturb the classically sublime impression with the uniformity of international culture. The figures in his paintings wear cargo shorts, camouflage t-shirts, and messenger bags. Some of the paintings depict dragonflies, which he sees as a symbol of freedom.

Qureshi’s work is meticulous. He makes use of blood-red paint, and his paintings are inspired by Indian miniatures. His resulting paintings are remarkably accurate – the artist’s work captures the moment. His works have been exhibited around the world.

Ahmad Zoay

Ahmad Zoay was a Pakistani painter and sculptor. Born in pre-partition India, he immigrated to Pakistan when the country became independent. His family settled in Walton, Lahore, in the newly-created Pakistan. His father served in the Royal Indian Army Medical Corps, and the family migrated to various places depending on his postings. After completing his schooling, Zoay took admission at the National College of Arts in Lahore. He travelled widely, and was influenced by Hippie culture.

Zoay’s paintings are often provocative. His depictions of women in his paintings contain sexual gestures and bright colors, in contrast to the moderate-to-extreme Muslim sensibilities. It is hard to miss the strong, independent woman that Zoay created in contrast to Bhutto’s images.

Faryal Azhar is another emerging artist whose work features bold colors and well-defined strokes. She began painting as a toddler, encouraged by her father, Ahmad Zoay, who died in 2014. Faryal was self-taught for many years, but eventually decided to enroll in an art school in Lahore to formalize her artistic skills and experiment with additional media.

The exhibition featured paintings by renowned Pakistani and foreign artists. Some of the artists featured in the exhibition were Dr Shahida Manzoor, Muhammad Javed, and Nazir Ahmad. In addition to these artists, the exhibition also featured the works of internationally acclaimed artists like MF Hussain and Senaka Senanayake. The art works of these great artists have become immortal and renowned in the art world. Their paintings will transport viewers into an entirely different world.

Eye For Art Gallery

The Eye For Art Gallery in Pakistan specializes in contemporary and modern South Asian art, including many pieces from the country’s master painters. The gallery has held exhibitions in the US, Dubai, and Karachi, and plans to open branches in the US as well. Its reputation is unmatched for the sale of authentic paintings by Pakistani and Indian Masters, and it is also recognized as a trusted adviser to major collectors. It acquires works from private collectors and major art auction houses around the world.

In a recent exhibition, “Moving Ahead” featured work by 126 artists from across Pakistan. The show showcased work by artists from the South Asian, Islamic, and Mughal traditions, as well as the works of private collectors. Many of the pieces on display were exhibited in major exhibitions, including the Lahore Biennial and Kochi Biennial. The exhibition is considered one of the most important public art projects in recent history.

The Eye For Art Gallery in Pakistan showcased a plethora of talent and creativity. The show included works by Sasan Nasernia, Imtisal Zafar, Hajra Mansoor, AQ Arif, Ali Abbas, Asif Ghayaz, Qamar Siddiqui, and Mohsin Shaikh. The art gallery is located in Karachi and serves as a hub for artistic innovation.

Ismail Gulgee is another Pakistani artist whose work is widely sought after. He studied science at the University of Karachi and then decided to pursue his passion for the arts. The result is a series of paintings that has gained global recognition.

Hamail Art Gallery

In Lahore, Pakistan, Hamail Art Gallery features works by over 45 local artists. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Punjab Governor, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar. The gallery is open 24 hours a day. Its mission is to promote art and to encourage patronage. It also offers expert guides to help visitors understand the different styles and pieces. The gallery exhibits the best works of art from Pakistan and neighboring countries. It has a long-term relationship with customers and artists and has various exhibition spaces throughout Pakistan.

The gallery was founded in 1998. It has more than 12,000 square feet of space and luxuriously furnished rooms. The interior features warm lighting, wood, and leather. It also hosts interactive exhibitions and offers an extensive collection. Its mission is to promote young artists and to connect them with art collectors and professionals.
