Babusar Pass is one of the most scenic drives in the region. The elevation is around 8,000 meters and offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The road to Babusar Top is recently asphalted. The road has a deep valley on one side, but is relatively wide. The road is being upgraded on the Chilas side, as well. If you have no experience driving in the region, local guides and the PTDC office in Naran are good sources of information.

Babusar Top

Babusar Top is a heavenly destination that offers a panoramic view of the Kashmir Mountains. The view is spectacular, and you can even get a glimpse of the Malika e Parbat, the highest peak in the region. You can also enjoy the spread plateaus, fast-flowing streams, and snow-covered peaks that adorn the region. If you’re planning to drive to Babusar Top, be sure to check the weather conditions before you plan a visit.

Travelers should dress appropriately, since the weather conditions can be quite chilly. If you’re going to hike to Babusar Top, make sure you bring warm clothes. If you’re staying overnight, plan accordingly. You can stay in a hotel, or you can set up a tent camp. If you’re going camping, make sure you pack camping equipment and food items from nearby towns.

Travelers should also check the road conditions to the top. It’s important to note that the road to the top was recently paved. However, some parts of the road are still under construction. It can take about five hours to reach the Hunza Valley. You can contact the PTDC office in Naran to get more information.

Babusar Pass connects Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It’s a popular road, and can be reached by car. There are several tea stalls and restaurants along the way. You’ll also have a chance to see Nanga Parbat, the highest mountain in the world.

If you’re planning a trip to Babusar Top, be sure to check the weather conditions. The road is slick and slippery, so it’s not advisable to drive on snowy roads. Travelers should be aware of the landslide risk as well.

Babusar Pass road

The road from Gilgit to Kaghan passes through the Babusar Pass, at an altitude of 4,179 metres (13,691 feet). This high mountain pass has a great panoramic view of the Kaghan valley, and the Babusar top, where the Mughal Emperor Babur rode his elephant to the top of the pass in the early 16th century. It’s a challenging road, with hairpin turns on each side of the mountain.

While the road from Naran to Babusar is open from June to September every year, heavy snowfall can close the road. Travelers should check the weather before heading up the pass. They should also check the brakes and exhaust systems on their cars. If possible, they should switch to a lower gear before driving up the pass.

The road from Gilgit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is one of the most scenic drives in the country, and thousands of tourists make the trip every year. However, the road is closed in winter due to heavy snowfall on the Babusar Top. As a result, this road remains closed until the snowfall has stopped.

A monument shows the way from the top of Babusar Pass to various places in the region. Depending on the time of day, the road can take you up to six hours to traverse. There are a number of beautiful viewpoints along the way. The scenery is spectacular, and the landscape changes dramatically during the journey.

Babusar Pass elevation

The elevation of Babusar Pass is 4173 meters (13,691 feet). It connects the Kaghan Valley to Chilas in Gilgit Baltistan and Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The pass has won the Nikon-flickr-award.

Travelling to Babusar Pass

Travelling to Babusar Pass is possible from Kaghan via the Gilgit-Baltistan border, through the Babusar Pass. The pass is the highest point in the Naran Valley and links the provinces of Kaghan and Gilgit-Baltistan. To reach the summit, four-wheel-drive vehicles are required. The pass has a steep mountain slope, so care must be taken.

If you’re a mountain biker, Babusar Pass may be just the thing for you. The pass is at a height of 4173 meters, making it one of the highest points in the Kaghan Valley. Travelling to this pass is best done during the summer months, when the surrounding greenery and mountains are at their most beautiful.

Travelling to Babusar Pass has been made even more difficult with the arrival of snow last week. Due to the huge influx of tourists, the highway has been clogged with traffic. The Deputy Commissioner of Diamer informed the District Administration of Mansehra that the highway was slippery and suggested a new schedule for travelers.

The weather at Babusar Pass is unpredictable, and visitors should check the weather forecast before planning their trip. There may be a chance of snow, although it’s rare. While the road to the pass is usually open from the middle of July to the end of September, it can become closed due to heavy snow.
