They both work by relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. The drug may also cause dizziness and other side effects. You should discuss possible side effects and precautions with your doctor before starting the treatment.

Extor is an angiotensin II receptor blocker

Extor is an angiotensine II receptor blocker tablet that is, used to treat high blood pressure in people suffering from heart failure. High blood pressure adds more workload to the heart and arteries, which increases the risk of heart attacks and strokes. This drug lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and improving circulation.

Extor is generally, well tolerated with recommended starting doses of 80 mg or 160 mg, taken twice daily. However, should take the drug with caution in patients with severe renal impairment. Extor can take with or without food and may administer with other antihypertensive drugs.

The drug also works by preventing the production of angiotensin II, a protein that causes blood vessels to constrict. These medications are also an effective option for people who have not been able to tolerate ACE inhibitors due to the side effects.

Angiotensin II receptor blockers help reduce blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels. This prevents blood vessels from contracting and causing the heart to work harder.
