Contraindications

Movex is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Its use is, contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity reactions, cardiovascular disease, or peripheral vascular disease. It should also be, used with caution in patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. The risk of liver and kidney damage is, also increased with Movex.

In case of an overdose, treatment is symptomatic. Activated charcoal and gastric lavage indicate within one hour of a potentially toxic dose. However, overdose is extremely unlikely with Movex, given the route of administration and pharmaceutical form. In addition, specific therapies are unlikely to be effective in removing Movex from the body. The reason for this is that NSAIDs have a high rate of protein binding and extensive metabolism.

Movex tablets can cause a cough. If you have a history of chronic cough, you should not take the medicine. Besides, those with liver and kidney disorders should avoid it. It should also not be taken by people with smoker’s cough. If you are pregnant, you should consult your doctor before taking any medicine.

Incompatibilities

There may be certain medications that are incompatible with MoveX. These incompatibilities are, described in the drug’s instructions. For example, midazolam and piperacillin-tazobactam have certain interactions. This information is based on data from another medicine of the same composition.

Precautions

While using MoveX, you should be aware of some of the potential side effects. If you have a history of liver disease or are pregnant or lactating, this medicine may increase your risk of having a serious side effect. It can also interact with other medicines and affect your kidney, heart, liver, or blood pressure. For these reasons, it is important to consult your physician before using Movex.

Elderly patients should be, monitored closely for adverse effects of Movex, especially if they have heart conditions. As with other NSAIDs, Movex should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. If any side effects occur, discontinue the medication immediately. As with any medication, Movex should be stopped at the first sign of hypersensitivity.

Use MoveX with caution in patients who have certain medical conditions, such as Crohn’s disease. It may increase the risk of bleeding or ulceration. In addition, patients with gastrointestinal disorders should avoid Movex. It can aggravate ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, or mixed connective tissue disorders.

Take MoveX with food. It did not affect its effectiveness when taken on an empty stomach or while fasting. The duration of use should be a minimum of 24 hours and should be accompanied by a balanced diet. The recommended dose of Movex is two 100 mg tablets daily, one in the morning and one in the evening. The drug should not be taken by children under the age of 18 years.

Long-term effects

MoveX is a powerful antipyretic and analgesic with a weak anti-inflammatory effect. It works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis and exerting its influence on the hypothalamus thermoregulation center. MoveX is, used to treat fever and mild to moderate pain in infectious and inflammatory diseases. It is usually prescribed for a period of five to seven days.

However, Movex can cause some serious side effects, including allergic reactions, especially when taken in large doses. This drug should be, avoided by patients if they have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding. Patients with gastrointestinal conditions such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, or mixed connective tissue disorders should also be cautious when taking NSAIDs.

Patients taking Movex should discuss possible side effects with their healthcare provider. They should be aware that they may experience dizziness and drowsiness when taking the medication. In such cases, the patient should rest and resume their activities as soon as they feel well. Additionally, long-term use of Movex Tablets can damage the kidneys. This is because prostaglandins produce by normal kidneys to protect them. But when patients take painkillers for prolonged periods, the amount of prostaglandins drops significantly. As a result, the kidneys cannot protect themselves and therefore, kidney damage can occur. Thus, Movex is, not recommended for patients with kidney disease.

Elderly patients should use Movex with caution, as it increases the risk of cardiovascular complications. This drug is prone to cause fluid retention and oedema, so patients should be, monitored regularly and use the lowest effective dose. Elderly patients should also undergo periodic checks for GI bleeding, and use of the medication should be, limited to the minimum duration required for therapeutic effect.
