Visiting Kuala Lumpur is an exciting experience, and there are several places you can visit. These include Thean Hou Temple, the Petronas Twin Towers, and KLCC Park. You can also see the Istana Negara. In addition, there are numerous art galleries and museums to explore.

Thean Hou Temple

Thean Hou Temple is a six-tiered temple dedicated to the Chinese sea goddess, Mazu. It is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The temple sits on a 1.67-acre piece of land overlooking Jalan Syed Putra. It was completed in 1987 and opened to the public in 1989.

You can visit the temple for free during its opening hours. However, the temple is located far from the nearest train station and lacks signage. That is why many travelers choose to join a city tour to get to the temple. Regardless of the reason for your visit, you should plan to spend at least 30 minutes exploring the temple and surrounding area.

The main temple hall is decorated with dragon-inspired columns. The view from the top of the temple is absolutely breathtaking! You can even see the Kuala Lumpur skyline from up there! The temple also houses statues of the Goddess of the Waterfront, the Goddess of Mercy, and the Goddess of Mercy. It is also an important place for Chinese marriage ceremonies and marriage registration.

The temple attracts thousands of visitors each year. Devotees offer offerings to the statues. On special days, such as Chinese New Year and Wesak Day, the temple hosts grand celebrations of these gods.

Petronas Twin Towers

Located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the 88-storey Petronas Towers stand 451.9 metres tall. They are a famous tourist destination in the city. They have breathtaking views of the city and are a must-see for all travellers.

Petronas stands for Petroliam Nasional, the national oil company of Malaysia, which owns the twin towers. Tower One is used by the company’s headquarters, while Tower Two is leased out to international companies. The observation deck is located on the 86th floor of Tower Two.

The structure of the Petronas Towers is unusually strong for a building this tall. The entire building is supported by a concrete tube, unlike most skyscrapers that are steel-framed. The structure, which has a unique cross-section, evokes Islamic art. The design also features circular sectors, akin to the bottom part of the Qutub Minar.

The Petronas Twin Towers are the most iconic landmarks in Malaysia. At 451.9 metres tall, they are the tallest twin structures in the world. In addition to offering spectacular views of Kuala Lumpur, they are also a great place to learn more about the city. The Skybridge between the towers is the world’s tallest two-story bridge.

The design of the Petronas Twin Towers was inspired by traditional Islamic arts. The cross-section of each tower has two intersecting squares, and at each intersection point, there is a small circle. This design is based on the Islamic symbol Rub el Hizb, which can be found on Islamic art. The twin towers were completed in 1998, and cost about 1.6 billion dollars.

KLCC Park

KLCC Park is a public park located in Kuala Lumpur. It was designed by landscape artist Roberto Burle Marx to beautify the area around the Petronas towers. It covers an area of twenty hectares and has over 900 native trees. It promotes a green environment and has zero tolerance for litter. The park is also home to the Petronas Towers, which are the tallest structures in the world. You can visit the observation deck for a spectacular view of the city. You can also enjoy the playground and children’s pool.

KLCC Park is a great place to relax. It’s located in the center of the city, making it an ideal location for people living in KL. It has a paved jogging track that’s 1.3 kilometers long and many shorter interconnecting walkways. Most of the park is wheelchair accessible, and there’s no dress code. However, the weather can be quite hot during the day.

The 50-acre KLCC Park has numerous features to keep its visitors happy and healthy. It includes a two-acre playground, a wading pool, a jogging track, shelters, and sculptures. It is also home to the Lake Symphony, a 10,000-square-foot manmade lake that features two fountains programmed with 150 animations.

If you’re planning a trip to Kuala Lumpur, don’t miss out on the Aquaria KLCC. There’s an aquarium with fifty marine species, so you’re sure to have a blast! In the evening, you can visit the sultry bars located on Jalan P Ramlee. And when you’re done exploring the park, don’t forget to try out the park’s jogging track and musical water fountain show.

Dining in the sky

Dining in the sky is a unique experience that takes you above the city. You can have an amazing meal while viewing the Petronas Twin Towers, which are the world’s tallest buildings, from your table. You can also enjoy a 5-star hotel experience at the Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur.

The service is unique – a crane is used to lift diners and their tables up to the sky. The waiters and chefs then serve a three or five-course meal. You can also have a drink at the bar. Guests can also choose from a list of drinks and can buy them on board, much like duty-free shopping. The food is special and is curated by top chefs in the city.

Dining in the sky in Kuala Lumpar is an unusual experience that combines fine dining and sightseeing. Locals and tourists alike love to try this out-of-the-box dining experience. As guests dine 50 metres above the ground, they will enjoy a stunning view of Kuala Lumpur. It is a romantic evening for two.
