His vast darbar is a great place to learn about his history and contributions to the Islamic civilization. His poetry is a valuable resource for anyone seeking knowledge about Islam. He is credited with many insightful roles in the development of Islamic civilization. He also served humanity in many ways.

He was a Sufi mystic and the founder of the Sarwari Qadiri order. He was born into an awan tribe and traced his lineage to Hazrat Ali. His mother was highly pious and believed in the teachings of Islam.

Many stories about Hazrat Bahu relate to his childhood and his conversion to Islam. His mother, Mai Rasti, was a pious woman and has a mausoleum in Shorkot. When Sultan Bahu was older, he went to Delhi for further training. A Sufi saint named Syed Abdul Rehman Jilani was also influential in his life. After completing his training, Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahu returned to his homeland of Punjab.

The main message of Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahu’s message is to purify the heart and mind, and to seek peace and love for the Creator. His teachings are in harmony with the Quran and the Sunnah. They lead the seeker on the right path.

His spiritual lineage

Hazrat Sultan Bahu’s spiritual lineage can be traced back to the Prophet Muhammad. He received spiritual guidance from the Prophet and was eventually accepted into the court of Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Bibi Fatima. During his childhood, he renounced Hinduism and converted to Islam.

Sultan Bahu, a Sufi saint, was born in the Awan tribe, descendants of Ali. He was a prolific writer who authored more than forty works on Sufism. Some of his works deal with specialised subjects, while others offer a broad overview of Sufi philosophy. In addition to his writings, Sultan Bahu also wrote poetry in Punjabi. His couplets can be heard in various forms of sufi music.

The writings of Sultan Bahu were originally written in obscurity, but scholars from different eras and cultures eventually obtained them. As a result, they were studied and copied. This spiritual wealth was then translated into a book. This book offers a new perspective on the spiritual journey and the path towards God.

Hazrat Sultan Bahu was born to a spiritual mother, Bibi Rasti. Sultan Bahu’s desire to be a Murshid led him to seek an ideal master. His mother rejected the offer but he remained devoted and sought a master of his own. In the process, he met Saint Hazrat Habibullah Qadiri.

The spiritual lineage of Sultan Bahu is the most revered on the Indian subcontinent. While his teachings are similar to that of the Qadiri order, they do not prescribe specific dress codes or practices. However, they do focus on mental exercises. The lineage has been passed down through generations of Bahu’s family.

His works

It is important to study the works of Hazrat Sultan Bahu (r.a.) from a literary perspective. Sultan Bahu composed more than 140 works in Persian and Arabic, including the diwaan of Persian ghazals. His work has a strong spiritual and devotional component. This is why his works should be translated and distributed widely.

During his youth, Sultan Bahu worked as an agriculturalist and wandered through the forests near Jhang. In one of these wanderings, he met a Sufi who became his spiritual guide. This Sufi, Habibullah Khan, sent Bahu to Delhi, where he studied under a Sufi master. Sayyid ‘Abdur-Rahman was a Sufi master of the Qadiri order, and he spent time learning from him.

Sultan Bahu is considered the second most venerated saint of the Qadiri Sufi order. A great Sufi poet, he wrote over 140 books on Islamic mysticism. His books detailed the Sufi teachings in great detail. They also described the various states and stages of the path. His mystical works, called “Punjabi Abyats,” have been highly acclaimed in the Indo-Pakistan subcontinent. These works are considered sacred spiritual verses in the Muslim tradition.

Although his works are mostly in Persian, Sultan Bahu’s poetry in Punjabi has been adapted to many forms. His kalaam is sung in various styles and genres of Sufi music. This makes him a familiar figure for Punjabis. He also wrote more than forty books in Persian, including the Manaqib-i-Sultani, which is his hagiography.

The works of Sultan Bahu are a must-read for any Muslim. His poems are filled with profound wisdom and deep meaning. His works include Nurul Huda, the light of guidance, Risala-e-Roohi (The Book of Soul), and Abyat-e-Bahu, a collection of poems.

His asceticism

The spiritual legacy of Sultan Bahu lies in the many books he penned under divine inspiration. His works were not only acclaimed during his lifetime, but even after his death, his legacy continues to enlighten people seeking truth. He also left a long-lasting and enduring poetry legacy. His verses are sung in different genres of Sufi music. He also authored a large number of treatises.

Sultan Bahu is said to have been initiated by the Prophet Muhammad and received spiritual guidance from him. He was also accepted by Hazrat Ali and Bibi Fatima as a child of the light. His asceticism has influenced many of today’s Sufi mystics and aficionados. Although he died before his time, most Sufis maintain that he is one of the most important Sufi figures.

Sultan Bahu’s asceticism was not merely out of concern for his mother. His intention to free his wives was clear to her, and his mother’s advice to his daughters-in-law was to remain calm and patient. Sultan Bahu (RA) heeded his mother’s advice. He then summoned Sheikh Habib Gillani, a Sufi master who cultivated him. The pious master was a relative to the Aurangzeb’s estranged brother.

The Mogul Emperor favored Sultan Bahu with a prestigious estate near Shorkhote. Despite his wealth, he chose to remain ascetical and devout as possible. His vast estate brought him great fame. But his choice of asceticism over wealth meant that he chose to remain in a state of asceticism that would not allow him to live comfortably.

The tomb of Hazrat Sultan Bahu (RA) is a shrine of great significance. Located in a village near the Chenub River, this shrine is a holy place of worship. It is visited by millions of people who come to seek his blessings. The most popular time to visit the shrine is during the first 10 days of Muharram, when as many as two million pilgrims descend on the tomb.
