The Ushu forest in Pakistan is a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers. This place is over 8,000 feet above sea level and is about 60 kilometers from Mingora. This location has several hotels, and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Swat.

If you are driving from Kalam to Ushu, you will need to pass through a valley with deodar trees that rise to the peaks. You will also encounter a glacier that blocks the road between the towns. During the winter months, the area is almost completely surrounded by snow and is covered with deodar trees. After the glacier melts, you will pass through several small villages that are located along the Kalam River.

Near the Mingora, you can also visit the Swat Museum. This museum contains the old heritage of the Gandhara civilization. You can see the main antiques and Buddhist artifacts here. If you want to see a beautiful scene, you can also visit Margazar, a village at the foot of Mount Ilam. Margazar literally means “green land.” The green valleys surrounding this village are perfect for a morning stroll.

The distance from Mingora to Ushu forest is 123 kilometers. You can reach this forest by car, jeep, or on foot. You should consider using a GPS to navigate this route. The road is in excellent condition.
