Where There is a Will, There is a Way

Success comes to those with willpower and determination. Without these attributes, it is impossible for a person to get to the top of the class. Nevertheless, they can succeed the following year if they are determined enough. Without these attributes, a student may not achieve the first position in class, although he may succeed next year.

Mahatma Gandhi

In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Where there is a will, there is a way.” This quote exemplifies the philosophic notion that where there is a will, there is inevitably a way. In Gandhi’s case, this means that it takes action. The individual has to make the choice, if he or she is to change the world.

Mahatma Gandhi was a leader who led the Indian people to freedom from British rule. His non-violent protests won him global respect and were inspiring for other activists. His nonviolent philosophy helped change our society and the world.

Gandhi never intended to formulate a dogmatic doctrine; his nonviolence was always experimental. His political struggle and his private life were part of a quest for Truth. Ultimately, he believed that human understanding cannot grasp the Absolute, which is beyond our understanding.

As a leader, Gandhi tried to unite different races. He tried to reconcile Muslims and Hindus, Christians and Untouchables. He lived with people of all races in colonial India, served the sick, and sent volunteers to other parts of the country. And he risked his life to do so.

Gandhi has a great deal to say about the power of human nature. His declaration that “where there is a will, there is a way” is one of the most empowering statements to be inspired by. His words have inspired millions and impacted lives.

It’s a simple truth, but the message is powerful. In his time, Mahatma Gandhi became a national hero and a hero. The most famous quote in this regard, “Where there is a will, there is a way”, is still as relevant today as it was back then.

Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy was to make a world where freedom is possible for all. He was a non-official man, who recognized the gulf between freedom and authority. In the process, he founded the Indian National Congress and remained one of the most free men of our time.

Despite the fact that the British government was firmly against the Indian revolution, the Indian Government, the Viceroy, and the Secretary of State have recognized the truth in Gandhi’s intentions. Yet, some sections of the British press have been angry with Montagu for stating that he was Gandhi’s friend.

Mahatma Gandhi’s motto was “Where there is a will, there is a way.” He was a saint and a politician. His followers did not distinguish between the two roles. They gave to him what the saint had done. Their unquestioning obedience was the most powerful example of their implicit faith in him.

Dhirubhai Ambani

The founder of Reliance Industries, Dhirubhai Ambani, died without a will in 2002. The absence of a will triggered an ugly power struggle between his son Mukesh and his younger brother, Anil. The rift snowballed and eventually led to a truce pact between the brothers.

Mukesh Ambani and his children will inherit their father’s stakes in the new entity. His long-term confidants will serve as advisers. The management of the new company will be left to outsiders. The company includes oil refining, petrochemicals, telecommunications, green energy, and other businesses.

While a student, Dhirubhai Ambani relocated to the Yemeni port city of Aden where he worked for a trading firm. He rose through the ranks and became a supervisor. During his time in Aden, he also learned accountancy and business skills. He later moved to Mumbai, where he co-founded a textile venture with his cousin Champaklal Damani. His company grew to be one of the largest in the world.

Mukesh Ambani has continued the family business’s legacy by focusing on high-risk investments. While Reliance’s attempt to develop gas fields in the Bay of Bengal has failed, its telecoms operation has proved a winner and its assets now total $49bn. This is a big turnaround from almost nothing a decade ago. The company’s telecoms operations have also changed the face of Indian society.

Reliance Industries was founded in 1957 by Dhirubhai Ambani. He had previously been a provider of textile yarns, but in the middle of the 1960s he decided to move into the textile manufacturing business. His first factory was built in 1966. The company’s IPO, in 1977, raised US$1.8 million. It also helped establish a culture of capital markets in India. In 1981, Mukesh Ambani joined the company. During this time, he led the company’s backward integration from polyester to textiles.

The Ambani siblings will inherit the company. Mukesh will remain chairman of Jio Infocomm and the other companies, while Akash will take charge of the digital business. Akash Ambani’s twin sister Nita will become vice chairwoman and Anant Ambani is expected to take charge of the company’s retail operations.
