Located in Punjab province, Pakistan, Rawalpindi is the capital of the Rawalpindi Division. It is the fourth-largest city proper in the country, after Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad. It is home to a cosmopolitan population, and is a popular destination for tourists.

Gakkahr Plaza

One of the best shopping malls in Rawalpindi is Gakhar Plaza. This mall has a great selection of goods for men, women and children at affordable prices. Many top brands have retail outlets in the mall. It also offers its own parking area. Located in the heart of Rawalpindi, Gakhar Plaza has great road links.

The plaza also contains public facilities. There are washrooms and a children’s fun area. A hospital is also located in the back of the plaza. The plaza will have a no smoking policy. Old tenants will be given priority over new tenants. The plaza is close to the railway station.

Ayub National Park

The Ayub National Park in Rawalpindi is an important part of the urban landscape. The park is home to many different types of plants and trees. It has a diverse range of habitats, which is why it’s a popular place to picnic and take part in physical activities. In addition to this, the park is a place where people come together to study and learn about nature.

The Ayub National Park is a wonderful place to visit with children. The park is situated near the city of Rawalpindi on the main Grand Trunk Road. The park was established before the country was formed and was previously known as the Topi Rakh Park. The park is home to many attractions, including an aquarium, play areas, open air theaters, and restaurants. Visitors can also take in a show called “The Jungle Kingdom.”

The park also houses a museum. The Ayub Park Museum tells the history of Pakistan before and after independence. You can learn about the dynasties and empires that ruled the area before 1947. The museum also covers the military history of the Pakistan Army and its role in UN peacekeeping. The museum houses a rich collection of historical objects and also has a beautiful outdoor space.

Gordon College Rawalpindi

Gordon College is a government college in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. It was originally founded as a church school in 1893. The college was named after Andrew Gordon. The college has an excellent reputation for offering a wide variety of academic programs and services to its students. Currently, it has more than 3,200 students.

The college is located in the heart of the city, so it’s easy to find your way around campus. The college’s campus is located on the Laiqat Road, which is close to the historic public place Laiqat Bagh. The college’s library is filled with information and a history book of the school.

The college offers four-year Bachelor of Science (BS) programs in mathematics, physics, chemistry, economics, and psychology. It also offers master’s degree programs and diploma courses.

The Pakistani Armed Forces

Pakistan’s Armed Forces are one of the world’s largest. Directly descended from the British Indian Army, they employ military equipment from many different countries and increasingly rely on Chinese military supplies. The military is based in the garrison city of Rawalpindi and the country’s capital, Islamabad.

The city has been the home of the Pakistani Armed Forces since the early twentieth century. During the partition of the country, the Pakistani Armed Forces continued to operate from their main headquarters in Rawalpindi. It also served as the interim capital while Islamabad was being constructed in the 1960s. It has had a turbulent history. Originally a Sikh garrison town, it grew to become an important trading centre. In 1849, the British seized the city from the Sikhs.

The Pakistani Armed Forces in Rawaltindi boast an arsenal of 72 ships and nine diesel submarines. In recent years, the country has started buying from China for its submarines and is working to upgrade its fleet to nuclear-capable vessels. It also maintains a land-based naval aviation unit. However, the Pakistani Navy has only been successful in one naval operation. In 1971, a Pakistani submarine, PNS Hangor, sank an American submarine, the INS Khukri. This was the first successful kill by Pakistan’s armed forces since the end of World War II.

The military cantonment

The military cantonment in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, is home to a military arsenal and a cantonment. The cantonment is the winter headquarters of the Northern Command. It has a population of approximately 40,611 people. The cantonment houses an arsenal, two Native infantry regiments, and a horse battery.

The cantonment has a budget of Rs6 billion. There is a shortfall of Rs110 million in this budget, and the budget might be cut if the board does not achieve its revenue recovery targets. The cantonment board is facing several problems, including a recent uprooting of an 8-inch water supply line during ongoing construction work on the IJP Road.

The military cantonment in Rawalpindi is located in Punjab province, Pakistan. It is south of the capital, Islamabad. Rawalpindi is also home to the headquarters of the Pakistan army.

The halwa puri

Halwa puris are fried delicacies that are eaten throughout Pakistan and India. They are considered a full meal in some parts of the country. In Punjab, puris are often eaten as a breakfast food. Here, you will find a variety of puris to satisfy your cravings.

Rawalpindi is known for its great halwa puri, and you can find many outlets selling them in the city. One of the best places to get them in Rawalpindi is the Commercial Market, Satellite Town. It is a popular attraction for people from different parts of the city.

Halwa puri is a popular breakfast item in Pakistan. It is made from sifted flour and is served with nihaari or chana. If you are looking for a sweet breakfast, halwa puri is a popular choice.

The Punjabi language

Despite the fact that English and Urdu are the two main languages in Pakistan, the Punjabi language is still spoken in this part of the country. The language is also spoken by the people of the town of Shahpur, a district in Sargodha province. Many people also speak the Shahpuri dialect, which is spoken in the area around Dera Chanpeer Shah.

The city of Rawalpindi is home to many minorities. Almost eighty percent of the population are Punjabi, while 9% are Pashtun and 7% are from other ethnic groups. The city is home to around 2,098,231 people. The majority of people speak Punjabi, while the remaining population are Pashtun, Sindhi, Baluchi, and other languages.

Ayres’ book focuses on the popular Punjabi of West Punjab, though this does not directly affect his theoretical argument. His aim is to understand why Punjabi has been largely ignored as the state language in Pakistan, despite its importance in demographics and political economy. His solution to this conundrum is to employ a symbolic understanding of movement and state power.

The famine

The famine in Rawalpindi is an issue that has caused great distress for the residents. There is a severe shortage of food in the area, with a large number of people unable to reach hospitals. Public transport has been suspended and metro bus services have been closed, preventing many citizens from reaching their homes. The round-up of large vehicles has also prevented the movement of goods. One rickshaw driver, Yasin Khan, the sole breadwinner of his six children, was out of work for two days due to the crisis.

A curfew has also been imposed in Rawalpindi, affecting the everyday lives of citizens. This was imposed to prevent the Tehreek-e-Labbaik-e-Pakistan from holding a sit-in. The shortage of food and petrol has left people in distress. The Murree Road, linking Mareer Chowk and Faizabad Interchange, has been sealed off, making it extremely difficult for people to travel to and from the area.
