How to Go to Hospital With a Sehat Insaf Card

 

If you have a Sehat Insaf Card and want to go to hospital for treatment, you must follow certain procedures. You should visit the district card distribution centre or visit a hospital that is empaneled for the Sehat Sahulat Program. You should also bring the following documents with you.

Sehat Sahulat Programme

Since the launch of the Sehat Sahulat Programme in Pakistan, more than 1.6 million people have received treatment under the free indoor health care programme. The Punjab Health Department, estimates that the programme saved Rs 40 billion in health care costs since, introduced in 2014. To date, over 607 private hospitals and 205 government hospitals in the province provide free indoor healthcare. About 80,000 beds are allotted for the program.

The Sehat Sahulat Programme offers free treatment for cancer, liver, and kidney transplants. The province has signed agreements with major private health institutions, including hospitals in Islamabad and Lahore. It plans to include Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in the Sehat Sahulat Programme.

The program has expanded to include the entire population of KPK and Punjab by December 2020. This expansion aim at providing universal health care coverage for all residents. Its rollout has resulted in the coverage of 69% of the KPK population and 2.48 million families, compared to 51% the year before. The program also allows people to receive treatment worth up to Rs 540,000 for their family.

The Sehat Sahulat Programme has a defined benefits package that covers various medical services, including maternity care, general surgeries, and antenatal check-ups. Moreover, the programme also covers transport costs for patients to and from hospitals. Patients are entitled to three visits per year under the programme.

The Sehat Sahulat Programme aims to provide universal health coverage to the people of Pakistan. The initiative was launched on 15 December 2015. The first phase of the programme covered the poorest 21 per cent of the population in four pilot districts. The next phase will be to expand the coverage to the rest of the country.

The Sehat Sahulat Programme is part of the Ehsaas Nashonuma Strategy. It has implemented in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Balochistan, and Tharparkar District.

The Sehat Sahulat Programme, an important initiative launched by the Imran Khan government in Pakistan. It aims to ensure universal health coverage by providing free, cost-effective healthcare for low-income families. The government has allocated Rs 65 billion for the implementation of the SSP by 9 December 2020. The programme also aims at improving access to basic health facilities, with low-income families receiving cost-free in-patient health care.

The Sehat Sahulat Programme aims to provide free medical care to the poor and underprivileged in Punjab. Through the Sehat Card, eligible families can claim coverage of up to ten lakh rupees per year. The program has deem as a milestone in the welfare of the state, and has the potential to transform the lives of millions of people.

The Sehat Sahulat Programme, launched in 2015, it ensures that the poorest citizens of Pakistan can access the best medical care. As of February 2019, the programme has enrolled over six million families and over 678,000 individuals in Pakistan. Participants can claim free hospitalization, medical procedures, and follow-up care. They will also receive a Sehat Insaf card with a one-year validity.

The SSP runs by the State Life Insurance Corporation (SLIC) and fully funds by the government. The SLIC manages the health care expenses of the registered users and refunds ninety percent of the unspent net premium to the government at the end of a three-year contract.
