The young batsman has made a name for himself in the country and is a promising talent. His talent and skill are already evident, but he needs to prove himself in a competitive international environment.

Khushdil plays in the middle order, usually batting at No.5, but has also batted at No.8. As a middle order batsman, he needs to leave an immediate impact every time he comes to bat. Unfortunately, Khushdil’s poor T20I performance so far suggests that he may not live up to his potential.

Khushdil Shah is a talented left-handed cricketer who plays for the Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League. His game revolves around power and is strong at the leg-side. He is not perfect against pace but loves to destroy spinners. Despite his batting style, he is also a left-arm orthodox bowler and can bowl slow.

There are many aspects of Khushdil Shah’s game that need improvement. He is not a top-level player, and he has his off-days. He needs to improve his performance in order to help the team win.

He plays for the Pakistan National Team

Khushdil Shah plays cricket for the national team of Pakistan. He is a left-handed batsman and is a good all-rounder. He has played at No. 5 and No. 6 but has also batted at No. 7 and No. 8. His innings have varied but he must leave an instant impact every time he comes to bat. Although he has not been able to meet expectations, his talent is evident.

Khushdil Shah was born on 7 February 1995. He began playing cricket professionally with the FATA team in 2014 and made his international debut against Australia in 2019. He plays only white ball cricket internationally. He is one of the most explosive batsmen in the world. As a left-hander, he has the ability to take spinners apart with ease.

Khushdil Shah has played 22 T20I innings for Pakistan since his debut in November 2018. He has a strike rate of under 100, with a poor average over 130. This is well below the expectations of a designated finisher. Khushdil’s recent poor form was highlighted during the recent T20I series against England. The Pakistani crowd chanted the word ‘parchi’ – a derogatory term – at him after he was dismissed.

Khushdil Shah is one of the Pakistan National Team’s top three run-scorers, but he failed to play a convincing knock in the final T20I against England. As a result, Pakistan lost the series 3-4.

Khushdil has faced less than 20 deliveries three times, but has a high-risk role in Pakistan’s XI. The middle order batsman is needed for the side’s balance. While he has not been particularly effective in the T20I format, he has played a decent innings in an Asia Cup match against Hong Kong and has been consistent in the batting order.

But he was unable to change his batting strategy in time to keep pace with Romario Shepherd, who went for six sixes in the 47th over. Khushdil then needed to change his asking rate. Then, Khushdil was taken to the cleaners by Romario Shepherd, who hit six sixes over mid-wicket and three over long-on. Khushdil started the 47th over needing 44 from 24 balls but ended the over needing 24 from 18 balls.

He has cried in the dressing room after the ‘Parchi’ chants

Pakistan’s middle-order has been suffering in the shortest format of the game and they have struggled to deliver. Their middle-order batsmen have not performed consistently in pressure situations since the 2022 Asia Cup. The ‘Parchi’ chants were a reaction to Shah’s dismissal in the seventh T20I against England. After Shah was dismissed, the fans started chanting the word “Parchi”, which means’reference’. Pakistani captain Aaquib Javed expressed concern for the remarks made by the fans and asked his players to concentrate on their skills and not on the ‘Parchi’ chants.

Khushdil Shah has reportedly cried in the dressing room after hearing the chants during the final T20I against England. Shah is a member of Pakistan’s middle order and is part of the playing eleven. Despite this, he has been the subject of constant criticism, including “not good enough” chants by his fans.

In an attempt to put an end to the ‘Parchi’ chants, Imam-ul-Haq issued a public call for the fans to stop jeering Shah. Imam-ul-Haq has even tweeted against this kind of behaviour.
