PepsiCo Pakistan is one of the leading food and beverage companies in Pakistan. It has recently signed a strategic partnership with Foodpanda, the fastest growing e-Grocery platform in the country. This partnership will help PepsiCo Pakistan expand its food and beverage category and better serve consumers. The two companies have already partnered up on several fronts, including a 7Up Strawberry Lemonade experiment.

Its Covid-19 response

In line with its commitment to enhancing public health, PepsiCo Pakistan has stepped up its efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic in Pakistan. The company has organized multiple vaccination drives for employees, frontline associates, district healthcare workers, health authority representatives, and community members across its facilities. It also launched a public awareness campaign that is aimed at educating the general public on Covid-19 vaccination and preventative measures.

To help the victims of COVID-19, PepsiCo has contributed more than $5 million towards relief efforts. The company has partnered with local bottling networks and local governments to help alleviate the impact of the disease and bring relief to people in need. PepsiCo is also supporting small businesses in the affected region and providing food and essential items to frontline workers.

PepsiCo’s Covid-19 response includes several initiatives to help the victims and recover from the devastating earthquake. Among them is the Millions of Meals disaster relief program. This effort has brought together civil society, charities, and volunteers to provide 13 million nutritious meals to those in need.

PepsiCo has been committed to Pakistan for many years. Its programs are aligned with the social agenda of the government and are designed to support long-term development and sustainability of the country. It has also committed to help local farmers through its sustainable agriculture program. It sources local potatoes for its products.

PepsiCo has pledged to invest more than $15 million to help the people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Pakistan. The company has also pledged to provide medical equipment to those in need. In addition to this, PepsiCo is also funding a $7 million community initiative.

Its partnership with Pandamart by Foodpanda

PepsiCo Pakistan, the largest food and beverage company in Pakistan, and Pandamart by Foodpanda, the fastest growing Quick-commerce site in Pakistan, have announced a strategic partnership to help them serve their customers better. The partnership will help both companies grow the food category on the Foodpanda platform and provide consumers with more convenient grocery shopping experiences. To get started, the companies are working to pilot a new product that will be offered by Pandamart – 7Up Strawberry Lemonade.

The new partnership offers convenience and affordability to customers. Customers can now take advantage of deals that give them 30 to 50% off the price of certain items. Pepsi will offer discounts on select items. Combined with the discounts, these offers offer great value for money.

The service is available around the clock in Pakistan, and foodpanda riders will deliver snacks within 30 to 60 minutes of a user placing an order. Riders of foodpanda will also contact restaurants directly, track orders and connect with customers. The company also offers a rewards program that enables users to save money on their purchases. There are over 20,000 restaurants and shops affiliated with foodpanda in Pakistan.

This partnership will help Pizza Hut achieve its growth targets and launch new products. Foodpanda Pakistan aims to empower the economy and empower stakeholders by allowing them to reach their target audience through their convenient web and app-based platform. The two companies will work to grow their brand across the country while helping local business owners.

Its recycling program

PepsiCo Pakistan has launched the country’s largest plastic waste collection and recycling initiative. The initiative is being carried out in partnership with Green Earth Recycling and was officially announced at the project kick-off ceremony in Islamabad. It will collect and recycle a total of 16,000 tons of plastic waste in just six months.

The program will include a two-fold increase in the amount of plastics that will be recycled. The company is also working with WWF-Pakistan to validate the results of this program. The project will help promote sustainable agriculture and combat climate change. PepsiCo is committed to recycling plastics that are currently thrown away in the garbage and will continue to do so in the future.

PepsiCo has created meaningful programs throughout Pakistan in an effort to reduce plastic waste and promote a sustainable society. It has also created the country’s first reverse vending machine. This machine encourages people to recycle their plastic bottles, and it offers discounts to food outlets in exchange for used plastic bottles. As an added incentive, users can also receive free refills of bulk water from these machines.

Its investments in water efficiency

PepsiCo Pakistan has announced investments in water efficiency and water management. This is part of the company’s commitment to social responsibility and environmental sustainability. Among other things, PepsiCo Pakistan has invested in a new plant for water-efficient packaging in Multan. This facility represents an investment of US$66 million and is expected to create approximately 1,500 jobs in Pakistan.

PepsiCo Pakistan is also investing in the conservation of groundwater and rainwater. Its new project aims to create awareness about rainwater conservation, reusing water, and groundwater replenishment. As water scarcity and climate change continue to exacerbate the global water crisis, PepsiCo has placed water stewardship at the top of its sustainability agenda.

PepsiCo’s long-term water strategy seeks to achieve sustainable water security for its operations, local communities, and natural ecosystems. In Pakistan, the company has established a three-year alliance with water conservation organization WaterAid to help rural and urban communities access clean water. Moreover, it has implemented several initiatives for sustainable water management, such as rainwater harvesting and the establishment of floating treatment wetlands.

As a corporate citizen, PepsiCo Pakistan is implementing initiatives to improve crop yields, reduce electricity use, and improve water efficiency. In partnership with WaterAid, it has adopted a comprehensive vision for its water management and water efficiency program. Through the program, the company is helping local farmers improve their crop yields while reducing fertilizer use. It is also utilizing food waste for electricity and sending zero waste to landfills.
