There are many things to know about the Islamabad club. If you are considering becoming a member, you should be aware of the criteria for membership. You should also know how much a membership costs. The following article outlines the criteria for Islamabad club membership. If you meet these criteria, you will be eligible to join the club.

Suhail & Fawad Architects

Suhail & Fawad – a Pakistani architectural firm with a global reach – has been selected to design the interiors of the Islamabad Club Building. The design team will revamp the lobby, Deewan-e-Khaas, Jharooka, and meeting rooms. The project also includes the addition of a prayer hall.

The firm has a diverse set of professionals on its staff, which includes architects, interior designers, draughtsmen, engineers, and support staff. The team includes a number of interns and support staff who have worked on the Islamabad Club projects.

Suhail & Fawad

Suhail & Fawad Architects has been appointed to redesign the Islamabad Club Building. The team will overhaul the lobby, Deewan-e-Khaas and Jharooka, and add guest lounges, meeting rooms, and a prayer hall. The firm has worked on a variety of projects in Pakistan, including the development of the Polo Complex.

The event is part of the Open House Architecture Series, which showcases the work of distinct architects and features completed projects. The theme of this year’s event is ‘agrarian and culinary riches’. The country’s rich mangoes, which are grown in many regions, are featured prominently. Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari graced the event as Guest of Honor.

Islamabad club’s criteria for membership

The Islamabad Club, which was founded in the late 1960s, is a social club for government officials and diplomats posted in the city. However, it has become increasingly commercial over the years, and its criteria for membership are not transparent. Recently, the audit office of Pakistan reviewed the club’s operations and found that it is violating several rules. It also recommended the establishment of a proper oversight mechanism for the club.

The Islamabad Club obstructed the efforts of the audit team to evaluate the criteria for membership. For example, the club did not provide documents regarding employment matters, the policy regarding subsidised food and beverages, and the procedure for granting a membership. As a result, the audit team could not determine the club’s criteria for membership. In addition, the audit team found that the club had built a new clubhouse, at a cost of Rs53.3 million, without the necessary approval of the CDA.

According to the Islamabad Club’s management committee, Mr Mobeen’s application was turned down because he did not meet the criteria. The club’s criteria for membership are set by its management committee, which consists of 12 members including federal secretaries, federal officials, and private sector representatives. However, the Islamabad Club administrator pointed out to Mr Mobeen that he was not eligible for the civil servants category. Civil servants, however, pay a minimal fee to be members of the club. Meanwhile, private members pay a hefty membership fee.

Cost of membership

The Islamabad Club in Karachi has been in operation since 1967 and is based on government-leased land. The club pays an annual rent of Rs14,700 for the 352-acre plot. That is equivalent to Rs3 per kanal. However, it is unclear how much the club actually spends on the properties. Interested citizens have moved the Pakistan Information Commission (PIC) to get information about the club’s finances.

The Islamabad Club’s management committee, headed by Mr Khan, is made up of 12 members from the private sector and federal secretaries. Mr Mobeen’s application was denied by the club’s administrator because he did not fall under the civil servant category. Civil servants are provided with free membership, while private members must pay a hefty fee.

The Islamabad Club is one of Pakistan’s premier social clubs, with over 7,000 members. There are currently about 400 applications on the waiting list. A membership in the club costs Rs1.5 million. Government officials and retired government officials pay Rs300,000. The Club is patronized by the President of Pakistan, who serves as its patron. In addition, the Secretary of the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) is an ex-officio member of the Islamabad Club’s management committee.

The Islamabad Club’s management team had divided the criteria for membership into seven categories. A majority of them were federal secretaries. The audit declared this practice unauthorised, and asked for documentation on the appointment of club administrators, employment of the managing committee, policy on bird sales, and more.

Cost of renovations

The Islamabad Club is one of the most exclusive clubs in the federal capital. Spread across more than two acres of prime land, the club is a private membership facility, home to government officials and diplomats. Its facilities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, and restaurants.

The club is leased 352 acres of land from the Capital Development Authority for Rs14,700 annually, which is Rs3 per acre. However, the club has never signed any lease agreement and was instead notified of the lease agreement by a citizen, who filed a case before the Pakistan Information Commission seeking information about the club’s lease.

The Islamabad Club is in the process of renovating its facilities. The renovation project will involve the redesigning of the lobby, the main library, a Chinese/Thai restaurant, and a prayer hall. The company behind the project is Suhail & Fawad Architects, which was founded in 2000.

The club is open to all foreign diplomats, but the denial of Indians membership has led to accusations of discrimination. India has threatened to pay a higher fee for membership to the club. The issue is at the heart of new hostilities between India and Pakistan. As a result, Islamabad has proposed a protocol between the two countries so that construction activities can go on without hindrance.

Cost of construction of new Guest Rooms Complex

The Islamabad Club has begun the process of renovating its interiors, including the guest rooms complex, by enlisting the services of Suhail & Fawad Architects. The new rooms will include lobby and meeting rooms as well as a new prayer hall. The firm is comprised of a team of talented individuals that was founded in 2000.

The group is a reputable name in the real estate industry. The current CEO of the Sardar Group is Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan. The Sardar Group’s goal is to provide world-class standards of service and quality in the local real estate market. The firm is committed to hiring the best developers and architects in the country. The result is a luxurious complex that is sure to impress.

The building is built on six levels and has several terraces that represent the natural topography of the northern Pakistani valleys. Each terrace has its own entrance and can accommodate up to 1700 guests. The hotel is also home to a beauty salon and gift shop. There is also a rooftop barbecue. Several meeting rooms are also available.

Located near the Rawal Lake, Islamabad Club is one of the country’s most exclusive clubs. It covers nearly 2700 kanals of land and has an elite membership, including government officials and diplomats. It also has a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a banquet hall.
