Citanew tablet interactions can cause serious side effects in patients who are taking certain other medicines. For this reason, Citanew should not be used by patients who are using nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), antipsychotic drugs (including Valium), or have long-term liver damage. In addition, Citanew is not recommended for patients who are taking MAO inhibitors.

Citanew tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), used for the treatment of anxiety and depression. It works by increasing serotonin levels in the brain, which helps alleviate feelings of anxiety and depression. It can also be used to treat severe anxiety in adults, such as social phobia and panic disorders.

In addition, Citanew tablet may increase the risk of serotonin syndrome, a condition characterized by an increased heartbeat and fluctuating blood pressure. Patients taking Citanew should report any changes in their mental status or unusual changes in their behavior. If these symptoms occur, patients should discontinue Citanew immediately and be monitored closely for two weeks.

Citanew Tablet may interact with drugs called triptans. Triptans are, commonly used for treating migraine headache.
